HOW TO GET THERE

The race takes place in the Aysen Region of Chile, in the heart of Patagonia. Due to its remote location, the way to get there is by plane.

The nearest airport is in Balmaceda and that the place where you should fly to.

Balmaceda airport code is BBA, so you can make sure you are booking your flight to the right destination.

For athletes coming from outside of Chile, you should first fly to Santiago (SCL - Arturo Merino Benitez Airport) and then connect to Balmaceda (BBA). That final leg is a 2h:20m flight.

PATAGONMAN is a point to point race starting in the western part of Aysén, one of the most southern regions of Latin America, then leading east to finish at the eastern part of this region. The course starts at the scenic Aysén Fjord, close to Puerto Chacabuco and finishes at the impressive General Carrera Lake. The course across Patagonia is both breathtakingly beautiful and extremely challenging.
